Today I bring to you.

Drum roll please......

MAC Gold Veneer came out in 2007 with the Antiquetease holiday collection.

It is a tarnished yellow gold lacquer.

Very obviously a frost(obvious by the brushstrokes left behind).

 I know a lot of my fellow nail bloggers do not like frosts but I do not mind them!

I love this color and it looks great against my skintone!!

Isn't she so pretty? 

This is a perfect lacquer for the holidays!

Today I was getting some last minute things an decided to go into different stores looking for new polishes. I came across a display of new Sally Hansen nail strips! I saw these at Bed Bath and Beyond!

Nail News!!!!!!

I was over at All Lacquered Up and saw that China Glaze is coming out with a new collection. In March 2012, China Glaze will release the Hunger Games Collection, which coincides with the release date of the movie!
Though I am not familiar with the Hunger Games, I love these colors!!

Oooh Bahama Mama!

Welcome to Day 10 of the 30 Days of Untrieds. I need to warn you that for the next few days, I will not be able to do any nail art. I will be in Canada and will not have internet access. Sorry my lovelies!!

Bahama Mama is a really rich deep plum. In some lights is almost looks like a gorgeous wine.

It's kind of a pain. It took three coats to make it not streaky.

And the cleanup still stained womp womp womp.

I do love this color! I unfortunately smudged my nails while I was moving around.

Bzzzzzzy as a Bee

Hello my lovely readers. Today is absolutely gorgeous here in Boston and I am blogging from outside. It's so rare for it to be almost 70 in November!

 Today marks Day 9 of the 30 Days of Untrieds. Today was an easy take for me to pick what to do.  The color I chose is Color Club Take Me To You Chateau!

Take Me To Your Chateau is a pure baby blue. 

This is two coats though I could have gotten away with one coat.

The formula is rather on the thick side. It's kind of a bitch to apply. 

Since I have been busy the past two days and will continue to be busy well into next week,

I chose to do bee nail art.

I have yet to pack and I leave for Canada tomorrow for 5 days!!

I've never been and I am soooo excited!

Look at how cute he is is flying around!

I'm Your Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch Cherry Bomb!

Hello my fellow polish lovers! I hope everyone is well today. I had a long day at the doctor's office today. I woke up at 5 am to be out of the house by 7 to get there by 8 because I didn't know where the office was. Had a lot of blood work done and now I have a few procedures and test that need to get done. At least they are trying to figure out what's wrong. 

Anyways, today is Day 8 of the 30 Days of Untrieds!!! And today, I bring to you

OPI MOON OVER MUMBAI!!!

 OPI Moon Over Mumbai is a true light gray with very subtle shimmer.

In the picture above, I am wearing 4 coats.. FOUR!!!!

Do I like it?

I am unsure! There is still VNL even after 4 coats. 

Will I keep it? Hmmm I will probably franken with it!

I was listening to The Runaways while I was doing my untrieds.

Their song  Cherry Bomb came up and it inspired my nail art!

They kind of look like tomatoes to me.

I Never Promised You A Rose Garden

Hello my beautiful followers! Welcome to Day 7 of the 30 Days of Untrieds!!! This is an amazing challenge. We polishaholics sometimes buy polishes and don't get around to trying them right away. It's the reason why I am loving this challenge. 


Today I have a polish brand this is not well known at all. In fact, the only other thing about it on the internet (that I found) was when I mentioned it in a previous haul post.

Bonita in Treasure Chest

I found Bonita nail polishes at a boutique called Francesca's.

I don't know it it's nationwide or not.

These are tiny polishes at 8ml each bottle. 

They were 2 for $1 or something like that.

Treasure Chest is a gorgeous darkened gold with multicolor shimmer.

If you click the photo above and look at my middle finger, you can see the shimmer.

It's hard to photograph it properly.

I've always been afraid of doing these vintage roses. I have no idea at all why.

It's the same thing with a smokey eye.

\ I can do whatever makeup you want me to but when it comes to a smokey eye, I freak out!

Anyways, I am happy I did the vintage roses.

I love the way they came out!!!

It's super easy to do and they look great!
