Stamped!

Hello my lovely readers,
I hope everyone is doing well. I'm still unpacking at my new apartment and it's been extremely time consuming. I've still been doing my nails. These are not the best pictures as they were taken with my iPhone.

I hope you all enjoyed these manis as I have enjoyed creating them!

Night Sparkle

Today is day 6 of the 30 days of Untrieds. I looked through my swatch book, closed my eyes and picked!
So today, I have Hello Kitty Liquid Nail Art Night Sparkle for you!

Night Sparkle is an opaque black with gold and green shimmer!!
*licks lips*
It's such a gorgeous color!!!
Look at that shimmer!!
I am completely in love with this color!!
Look at how the shimmer just glows.
It is very very noticeable!

I've had a fever off and on this entire weekend so I wasn't feeling up to doing some nail art
It's been a while since I stamped so I decided to do it!
Please don't mind my thumb, I filed it down when I did my bloody Halloween nails.
I chose to use Konad image plate M79.
The stamp color is Sally Hansen in Silver Chrome.
I was afraid the stamping would overpower Night Sparkle but it didn't!
As you can see on my pointer, the shimmer shines on through!!!

Night Sparkle is definitely a keeper!

Day 29: Supernatural

Hi hi!!!! I spent ALL day trying to figure out what to do. I tried doing Cthulhu nails.. But I do not have good brushes soooo they came out horribly! But they did look like Zoidburg! hahaha Then! I was going to do some occult symbols but decided against it! I sat at my desk staring at the wall and I looked down at my lap top and was inspired by a sticker I have on it!
Ghosts coming from the grave.
How cute?!!? I love it! The ghosts glow in the dark but I couldn't photograph it properly
Base Color: Sally Hansen- Midnight in NY
Image plate: BM223
Stamp Color: Konad White
Grave Color: Sally Hansen- Presto Pewter
RIP: Black Acrylic Paint
I hope everyone had a great day today!!
Until tomorrow, which is the last day of the challenge.

Day 14: Flowers

I managed to get myself out of bed to do Day 14 of the 30 day nail challenge. I wanted to do some freehand nail art, but to be quite honest, I was feeling like hell. Despite me not feeling up to doing my nails, I must say that I am really happy the way my nails turned out. I really really hate getting sick because when I do, it takes forever for it to go away. I'm trying to stay positive. I've been using my neti pot like crazy, which relives a lot of the sinus pressure.

Base Color-
 Essie: Ballet Slippers
Ring finger-
Image Plate: Konad m65
Stamp Color: Sally Hansen Teal-y Fast
Thumb, Pointer, Middle, Pink Fingers-
Image Plate: Konad M82
Stamp Color: Sally Hansen Emerald Express

I feel so delicate with my nails like this!

Hopefully I feel better tomorrow!
Until next time my pretties!

Day 13: Animal Print

I woke up feeling very very sick. I want to do a more colorful mani but wasn't feeling up to it at all. This is probably the worst mani I'll ever put up. Some parts smudged. Eh. You will see!
I used:
Nails Inc: Bloomsbury Square
Stamp Color: Konad Black
Image Plate: Konad M57

Im posting this from the iPhone blogger app. Let's see how it works!
Sorry such a short horrible post!

Day 7: Black and White Nails

I woke up today with hardly any energy. It's been raining here nonstop for the past two days. It's in the low 60s. Bye Summer.. Til next time, I will miss you

I wasn't too sure what I was going to do for Day 7. I started watching the Twilight Zone and that's what gave me the idea for today's manicure!
Maybelline- Classic Black
Konad- White
Image Plate: Chez Delaney H29

I love love love the way they came out.. Except for a few mistakes here and there (probably everywhere!!)
Til next time my lovelies!

Geek Week: Who are you gonna call?

Sorry for the horrible quality picture but my camera battery was dead and I was on my way out the door.

Geek Week: Batman + Harley Quinn nails

I meant to post this yesterday.. But then I went to Michaels and got distracted by their Halloween goodness.
This week, I will be doing thing pertaining to geekiness. I am a huge geek myself. I play Dungeons and Dragons, video games, read comics etc. SO what better way to honor it than with nail art.

This is my first time trying freehand nail art.

Day 1: Batman and Harley Quinn
My middle fingers were Batman and the rest were Harley Quinn

Middle finger:
Base Color: Sally Hansen Lightening
Image Plate: Chez Delaney D25
Stamp Color: Konad Black

Rest of the hand:
Base color: Sally Hansen Sonic Boom
Design Color: Black Acrylic Paint

Base color: China Glaze- For Audrey
Stamp color: White
Image Plate: M56

This has been my favorite manicure to date. Granted, the bows are a bit crooked. And the jewels did not stay for very long. Oh well.
So I have been MIA for longer than I wanted. But I am going to try to post regularly now. I haven't stopped doing nails at all. I still do them everyday.

Base color: China Glaze Senorita Bonita
Stamp color: Pastel green

Orly: Ancient Jade

Ancient Jade is not a unique color to be honest. But I still need to have it in my collection.
This color came out with Orly’s Spring 2011 Precious Collection.
It's a gorgeous green creme color.
The formula is so heavenly! This is one coat. No streaking. No VNL.
Perfection!!
Just a quick konadicure to spice it up (far from creative.)
Base color: Orly Ancient Jade
Image Plate: Konad M21
Stamp Color: Konad White

Any tips on how to be more creative with manicures?

MAC: Girls Will Be Girls

Girls Will Be Girls came out in 2008 for the MAC Fafi Collection. It's pink with coral pearl. Delicious. I love how over the top girly this nail polish is. I am an extremely pale person and it looks great against my tone but I think it would look better against darker tones.
Here is an intentionally blurred photo so you can see the pearl. <3__<3
Gorgeous!!
So of course, I can't stand not hanging something else on top of the nail color.
Soooooooooo I did this:
I thought it would make it girlier but for some reason I do not like it at all.
Plus, LOOK!!!, shrinkage (teehee).
For the first time ever!
Base Color: MAC Girls Will Be Girls
Image Plate: Konad M71
Stamp Color: Orly Wild Wisteria

I am not a fan of this konadicure fail bomb. Opinions?

Hard Candy: Sky

Hard Candy Sky is a gorgeous baby blue with blue shimmer (look at my index finger in the picture). The first coat of this color was patchy and left some balding towards the cuticle bed. When I applied the second coat, there was no more patchiness and no more balding. The formula is a bit on the thick side but it's nothing to worry about it.  I got this color at Walmart for $5, I think.

I had extra time today before so I decided to spruce up this manicure by adding stamping.
This is my first attempt at layering and I must say, I did a pretty good job.
Pardon the messiness, my lens is a macro lens and picks up any imperfection.
I see this done a lot with nude/neutral colors.
I love this konadicure
Plates used: Konad M57 and Konad M71

Konadicure: Leafy Blues

I love love love konadicures; especially since I am no good at traditional nail art.
I am surprised at how much I loved this mani. It has to be my favorite to date.
Base Coat: Sally Hansen Mint Sorbet
Stamp Color: Sally Hansen Brisk Blue
Stamp: Bundle Monster  BM 19

Which Way Did He Go?

What I used:
Fingers: OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui
Ring Finger: Nicole by OPI I’m a Belieber
Nail Image Plate: Bundle Monster BM20
Stamp Color: Sally Hansen Color Pen in Silver Chrome

So I had to cut off all my nails. Something odd was happening with them. They were splitting on the sides. I think me filing the sides a bit caused them to do that. Womp womp. I hope they grow back fast!
