It's Aquadelic baby!

Hola amores!

I hope every had a great weekend. This weekend was crazy. The people who live above my boyfriend, well, their pipe burst and it started raining in my boyfriend's apartment. We had to go about with an umbrella and rain boots until the property manager came.. It was 4 in the morning!
 I can't believe it's Tuesday already!
Today I have for you a nail swatch. No nail art. I haven't had time.

China Glaze Aquadelic is from the Electro Pop collection. It's a gorgeous aqua creme color. 

I had a bit of a problem applying this but with the second coat it was fine.

It was a bit on the thick side.

I used this as the base for the Adventure Time BMO post.

I don't have much of the Electro Pop collection but I fell in love with them.

I will be getting more.

We're All Just Disco Hippies

Hola chicas!!

Today I have Bettina in Disco Hippie, a Puerto Rican brand of polish, that Nory sent me in our recent swap.

I broke my ring finger nail bowling over the weekend. It was a lot of shorter than now so I wanted to wait a bit before I made another blog post.

Disco hippie is an orange shimmer that has a flash of gold shimmer.

I got this mani idea from Let Them Have Polish.

She layered each Disco polish over black!

I fell in love with the polishes and the different colors they have hidden in them.

Look at the green flash that came out of nowhere!!

I layered one coat of Disco Hippoe over one coat of Wet N Wild Black Creme.

It's absolutely gorgeous and does not look like the color in the bottle.

This is such a gorgeous polish and the formula is heavenly. 

I want more of their polishes.

I cannot get enough of them.

The quality is great!

Magnetic Attraction

Happy New Year to all! I hope everyone had a safe and Happy New Year.
I somehow misplaced my nail art brushes so I haven't been able to do any.
I need to check all of my bags and check my boyfriend's apartment.
I hope I find them because I seriously cannot remember what brushes I have.


Today I present to thee my first magnetic nail polish.

Cauldron Drippings has different size and shape glitters.

OPI Christmas Polishes at Ulta

Today I was nail shopping and while at Ulta, I came across some polishes that I wasn't familiar with.
There are three OPI Christmas polishes there. How's It Snowin'? Speak For Your-Elf, and A Sparkle Yule Love.
This is also my Day 16 of Untrieds. I fell behind because I was in Canada with no internet at all. But I will now resume to posting regularly now.

This is How's It Snowin'?

The pointer finger has 1 coat.

The middle finger has 2 coats.

The ring finger has 3 coats.

I love this polish (I think I say that a lot).

It starts off rather sheer but is very buildable. 

It's gray and silver glitter. (Sorry I am horrible at describing things)

Next up is A Sparkle Yule Love.

The pointer finger has 1 coat.

The middle finger has 2 coats.

The ring finger has 3 coats.

This looks exactly like Excuse Moi? from The Muppets collection.

I like be doing a comparison post later on in the week.

 It's a pink/reddish base with teal, green, silver, gold, pink and orange glitter.

Last but not least is Speak for Your-Elf

The pointer has 1 coat. 

The middle has 2 coats.

The ring has 3 coats.

This is a red based with red glitter.

We've seen these before.

Why do my nails look dirty????

Night Sparkle

Today is day 6 of the 30 days of Untrieds. I looked through my swatch book, closed my eyes and picked!

So today, I have Hello Kitty Liquid Nail Art Night Sparkle for you!

Night Sparkle is an opaque black with gold and green shimmer!!

*licks lips*

It's such a gorgeous color!!!

Look at that shimmer!!

I am completely in love with this color!!

Look at how the shimmer just glows. 

It is very very noticeable!

I've had a fever off and on this entire weekend so I wasn't feeling up to doing some nail art

It's been a while since I stamped so I decided to do it!

Please don't mind my thumb, I filed it down when I did my bloody Halloween nails. 

I chose to use Konad image plate M79.

The stamp color is Sally Hansen in Silver Chrome. 

I was afraid the stamping would overpower Night Sparkle but it didn't!

As you can see on my pointer, the shimmer shines on through!!!

Night Sparkle is definitely a keeper!

Boris & Natasha & Cats!! Oh My!!!

Last minute today (like 10 minutes ago) I decided to join my lovely fellow bloggers in the 30 Days of Untrieds! Instead of doing straight up swatches, I am going to throw some nail art on my nails too!

Day 1: OPI Boris & Natasha

To be honest, I have no idea from what collection this color comes from.

I saw this color at my CVS like 4 weeks ago and snatched it up.

(Don't mind my thumb and pinky. I filed them down for my Halloween costume nails)

Boris&Natasha is a burgundy/purple creme color. 

It was opaque in two coats though one carefully applied coat would have done.

Bunny cats? Haha

I have no idea how to do cats at all!

It was really cute in my head and then my hand decided to rebel.

Damn those forces /nerd.

Day 17: Glitter

My sinus cold has turned into a chest cold and I am seriously lacking energy. I wish I could have done something more than just a swatch.
Day 17 of the 30 day nail polish challenge is glitter.

This glitter is gorgeous. Opaque in 2 coats but you could totally get away with 1 thick coat.

It's absolutely gorgeous and I cannot stop staring at it in the light.

I feel like it's Las Vegas on my nails!

I broke two nails today because I was careless because I was so focused on my job interview.

Day 5: Blue Nails

Happy Labor Day to all. As well all know, this marks the end of summer. People are heading back to school. Leaves will soon begin to turn colors! I love fall.

Anyways Day 5 of the 30 day nail challenge is blue nails!!!

Eyeko: Indigo Polish for Sultry Nails!

Indigo polish is a stunning shimmery, deep, midnight navy blue.

It's soooooo gorgeous!

Eyeko discounted selling polishes but I believe they are still on the site.

I love love love this polish. Too bad it's discontinued!

Day 3: Yellow Nails

So I must apologize for the last post. Today was a super super busy day. Right now is the only is the only down time I've had. Anywho, day 3 of the 30 day nail challenge is yellow nails.

Revlon: Electric 

This is a bright yellow with a gorgeous gold shimmer to it. Electric applied beautifully (for me), though I know other bloggers have had problems with it. I used 2 coats and top it off with Seche vite.

Apparently this is a great dupe for Chanel Mimosa.

I wouldn't know since I don't own it.

If you look closely at the picture (click it), you can see the shimmer. I am happy I got this color.

I earned 4 ECB at CVS when I bought it.

Again, I apologize for the late post. Tomorrow's post will be earlier. 

By the way, I really recommend this polish. It's gorgeous!

Day 2: Orange Nails

I'm really liking this challenge thing! There should be more!
So day 2 of the 30 day challenge is Orange Nails!!

American Apparel: Neon Coral. 

Ok Ok.. I am going to be completely honest, I don't understand why it's called coral. 

I view it as orange maybe with a hint of pink. But it really should not be called coral. 

Anywho, this is super super super bright.

OPI: Significant Other Color

Significant Other Color  is a pinkish-lavender duochrome that flashes green/ yellow. Does that make any sense at all? Honestly, I am the worst at describing nail polish colors!!

This is 4 coats with no top coat.

Sorry for the blurry picture, I just wanted to show the shimmer. It's not the best picture and I apologize.

But honestly, it was really hard to photograph this color!

I need lighting tips from other bloggers.

Any tips??

I have wrinkly fingers!

But I am not sure if I like this color for my skin tone.

I am going to try layering it over black!

Del Sol: Beach Bum

Prior to my cousin going away to college, we have never heard of Del Sol. One of her roommates told her about it and showed her two Del Sol polishes she owned.

We were walking around the Pru (Prudential Center) and came across one of the carts and lo and behold it sold Del Sol!!

Del Sol sells color changing polishes. Once exposed to sunlight or black light, the color in the bottle will change to the color advertised on the front.

My cousin bought Beach Bum (I bought another that I will post later).

The color inside of the bottle is the color that goes on your nails.

Once exposed to sunlight, artificial light doesn't work, it's supposed to change to the color of the hibiscus

on the front.

 This is 4 coats of Beach Bum. My nail line is still very visible, which bothered me.

It's a peachy jelly base. Boring.

So I stuck my hand into the sunlight and got this:

The color looks nothing like the color on the bottle.

My nail line is even more visible!!

It turned a weird gray color.

The reason why we bought this color was because we loved the color it changed to.

I wouldn't recommend Del Sol Beach Bum to anyone. It's boring and will take many coats to appear opaque.

For $10, it's totally not worth it.

China Glaze- Skyscraper

Skyscraper was released with the fall 2011 China Glaze Metro Collection

This polish was a pain in my ass to photograph!! I took around 115 photographs! I wanted to seriously throw my camera out the window.

Skyscraper is a translucent blue-violet color jelly base with lots of silver glitter. It was opaque in two coats. I topped it off with China Glaze Fast Forward top coat.

This was the only color that caught my eye from the collection.

But now that I think back on it.. I really need Trendsetter!

I can't stop staring at Skycraper. I love seeing the bits of violet micro glitter shimmer in the light!

I suggest everyone get this color from the collection.

OPI: Jade Is The New Black

So I've had this in the nail collection for a bit now and it wasn't until recently that I wore it :x

Jade Is The New Black is an amazing color. Honestly, I don't  think I have seen a dupe for this at all.

It's a dusty, faded very blue based green color.

Ugh I love it. I regret putting it to the side for a while.

So I used Poshe top coat and I hate it!!!!!

Look at the ring finger, it's scuffed.

What top coat scuffs?! Urgh I was so angry that it ruined my beautiful manicure!

Essence: I Like

First off, I am sorry for not posting for two weeks. I quit my job and have been job searching. I also have been quite stressed. But I am better now!\

.I like is from the Essence collection called Blossoms.  It's a light turquoise green-blue polish color with a light turquoise shimmer. You can see the shimmer in the middle finger.  This is 2 coats. it applied very smoothly and left no streaks or bald spots.

.I added Sally Hansen crackle in Distressed Denim. I am completely and utterly in love. The crackle...crackled (shattered) like a dream. I love everything about this mani! The color combo is a dream!

Orly: Lemonade

Orly Lemonade came out in Spring 2010. The collection was called Sweet and featured pastel colors.

Each nail polish in this collection came with a mini lip gloss matching the color and flavor.

Lemonade is a cool yellow color.

It was opaque in two coats. 

I've heard this polish was difficult for some people.

It applied fine for me. It wasn't the best formula but I had no problems.

So this photo right here ^^,

will be the worst photo I ever post on my blog.

I layered Hard Candy Sugar Daddy on top of Orly Lemonade.

Sugar Daddy is a sheer white polish with gold shimmer.

It's a gorgeous color.

I would not suggest wearing it by itself since it is so sheer.

Sally Hansen: Shrimply Devine

Can I just confess something? Well, it's not really a secret but I am in love with Sally Hansen polishes. They are of great formula. They are great to stamp with. They have a wide range of colors. Just amazing! Oh! And they are extremely affordable! Anywho.. On top the color at hand: SHRIMPLY DEVINE

This is such an unf color. 

Shrimply devine  is a salmon pink. It truly depends on how the light hits it. 

It can be a coral, salmon, or hot pink.

It's like a bi-polar polish.

Go on mama with your bad self. Be what you want to be

Stamp Color: Konad Special Black

Top Coat: Poshe 

By the way, I am LOVING the new bundle monster image plates.
