Essence: I Like

First off, I am sorry for not posting for two weeks. I quit my job and have been job searching. I also have been quite stressed. But I am better now!\

.I like is from the Essence collection called Blossoms.  It's a light turquoise green-blue polish color with a light turquoise shimmer. You can see the shimmer in the middle finger.  This is 2 coats. it applied very smoothly and left no streaks or bald spots.
.I added Sally Hansen crackle in Distressed Denim. I am completely and utterly in love. The crackle...crackled (shattered) like a dream. I love everything about this mani! The color combo is a dream!

Orly: Lemonade

Orly Lemonade came out in Spring 2010. The collection was called Sweet and featured pastel colors.
Each nail polish in this collection came with a mini lip gloss matching the color and flavor.
Lemonade is a cool yellow color.
It was opaque in two coats.
I've heard this polish was difficult for some people.
It applied fine for me. It wasn't the best formula but I had no problems.
So this photo right here ^^,
will be the worst photo I ever post on my blog.
I layered Hard Candy Sugar Daddy on top of Orly Lemonade.
Sugar Daddy is a sheer white polish with gold shimmer.
It's a gorgeous color.
I would not suggest wearing it by itself since it is so sheer.

So readers, what do you think of this color??

Orly: Ancient Jade

Ancient Jade is not a unique color to be honest. But I still need to have it in my collection.
This color came out with Orly’s Spring 2011 Precious Collection.
It's a gorgeous green creme color.
The formula is so heavenly! This is one coat. No streaking. No VNL.
Perfection!!
Just a quick konadicure to spice it up (far from creative.)
Base color: Orly Ancient Jade
Image Plate: Konad M21
Stamp Color: Konad White

Any tips on how to be more creative with manicures?

Essie: Smooth Sailing

Sorry I haven't updated in a bit. Some events occurred last week that was the icing on the cake for me. I quit my job and have been rather stressed. But I will be posting more frequently until I find a job. Enough personal nonsense.
Smooth Sailing is a periwinkle blue with silver flaky microglitter
This color is part of the limited edition Summer 2011 collection, Color Me Brazilliant
I used two coats. It has a perfect consistency
.
Urgh look at that color combination!
*Drools*
I added China Glaze Broken Hearted on top of Essie Smooth Sailiing.
Gosh, so pretty!!
I wore this mani all day.

Does anyone run out of mani ideas?
Whenever I run out of ideas, I throw crackle/shatter on top and WHAM! BAM!
Instant "creative" manicure.
But I really did like this color combination!

Sally Hansen: Shrimply Devine

Can I just confess something? Well, it's not really a secret but I am in love with Sally Hansen polishes. They are of great formula. They are great to stamp with. They have a wide range of colors. Just amazing! Oh! And they are extremely affordable! Anywho.. On top the color at hand: SHRIMPLY DEVINE

This is such an unf color.
Shrimply devine  is a salmon pink. It truly depends on how the light hits it.
It can be a coral, salmon, or hot pink.
It's like a bi-polar polish.
Go on mama with your bad self. Be what you want to be
Base Color: Sally Hansen Shrimply Devine

Stamp Color: Konad Special Black
Top Coat: Poshe

By the way, I am LOVING the new bundle monster image plates.

xoxo

Confetti: My Favorite Martian

Confetti My Favorite Martian is grass green with a lot of gold microglitter. It is extremely sheer. This is 3 or 4 (I can't remember) coats and there is still VNL (visible nail line).
I seriously do not know how I feel about this polish.
It looks familiar to China Glaze Zombie Zest (this is a reminder to do a comparison)
I am so very torn by this color. I think it looks so murky on me.
Kind of like baby poop! Am I exaggerating?
I added OPI black shatter.
On the pointer finger, I applied it up the nail.
On the middle finger, I applied it across the nail.
On the ring finger, I applied it diagonally to the nail.
I honestly love the effects!

MAC: Plasma Blu

Plasma Blu is  bright turquoise blue shade with turq. blue shimmer.
Plasma Blue came out in 2008 with the MAC Neo SciFi collection.
Photographing frost polishes is really hard in my opinion.
If anyone has any tips, please please please share them!
Base color: MAC Plasma Blu
Image Plate: BM-206
Stamp Color: Sally Hansen Green Chrome Color Quick Pen
Top Coat: Seche Vite

MAC Plasma Blu is not a very unique color. But if you are like me and need to own every MAC polish that comes out in a collection, then I suggest you get this.
