Deck The Halls with Boughs of Holly

Fa la la la la la la la la

Today is the 6th day of Christmas and I bring you Boughs of Holly!!! I'm going to be honest with you, my dear readers. When I first started this mani, I was sure it was going to be a fail. I prepped myself for a horrid outcome. And may I add, that I totally rocked it and didn't fail!

This is another of my pushpin manicures. I just can't seem to find a brush thin enough for my liking.

Base color: Essie Ballet Slippers (3 coats)
Black, white, red, green acrylic paint.

I am so happy with the way these came out!

Until tomorrow my lovelies!

They all shouted out with glee!

Today is the 5th day of my Christmas themed manis. I'm getting excited as each day passes. Honestly, I can't believe it's already December 5th. The past 7 months have flown by!

I have for you, those pesky little reindeer that didn't let Rudolph join in any reindeer games.
Base color: Sally Hansen Big Money
Brown, black, white acrylic paint
Rudolph's nose: Lynnderella Ruby Red Ruby

This was a lot of fun to do.
I had a smile on my face the entire time I was doing my nails!!!

The index reindeer had an eye accident as you can see.
It's small. He was playing with a BB Gun and shot his eye out!

Until tomorrow my lovelies!!

Snowflakes are kisses sent from heaven

On the 4th day of Christmas, my true love did on me
Special looking snowflakes..

I have a feeling that my readers might get tired of me starting the posts that way haha.
I hope everyone is doing well! Currently, I am watching The Muppets Christmas Carol.. If you have not seen it... well, what are you waiting for!? GO!
I must say, that my passion for nail art has returned. I have almost every day planned so far! I am not letting my health bring me down. A positive view is what I promise to have.

Base color: Wet n Wild Black Creme
Layered with Deborah Lippmann Stairway to Heaven
White acrylic paint for the snowflakes topped with China Glaze White Cap
I tried to make each one different because no two are the same!

I wish I could capture how much it glitters. It looks so awesome. It reminds me of that first snowfall.
The snow where no one has stepped, no cars have dirtied.
We got our first snowfall on Halloween but it melted within a Boston.
I am hoping to have a white Christmas.
What do you like about Christmas/Winter?
What do you think of this manicure?
I love hearing your opinions!

Until tomorrow my lovelies!!!

On the 2nd and 3rd day of Christmas...

On the 2nd day of Christmas art, my true love did to me...
Special looking penguins!
Base color: MAC Seriously Hip
White and Black acrylic paint
China Glaze Peachy Keen
I dunno what I would have done to make them look better.
They are extremely special looking.
Eep! Even though are you special looking, my dear penguins, mama still loves you to death!

On the 3rd day of Christmas nail art, my true love did to me...
CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!!
Base Color: OPI Alpine Snow
Lynnderella Ribbon Candy
Black, blue, green, red, yellow acrylic paint

I like this mani alot. The Lynnderella glitter made it look like a party on my nails!
I am loving December for nail art.
November was a rather dull month for me.
I was diagnosed with certain things and it took it's toll on me.
But this month brings all new things.
My birthday, John Waters show, Christmas, snow, sledding!
What more can a girl ask for?

I also want to thank all of my followers.
I will be having a giveaway when I reach 200!

Until tomorrow!

Thumpetty thump thump

Today is December 1st! Today also marks the first of a month long of Christmas manicures!
Here in Boston, doesn't really feel like December. We've been having very warm weather. It's so unusual.
My birthday is December 9 and every year there has been a snow storm on my birthday. We'll see what happens.

Earlier today, I was playing Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4. The snowmen in Hogsmeade are so adorable so I decided to do a mani based on them.
As a base I used OPI How's it Snowin'? which is a Ulta holiday exclusive.
I used black, white and purple acrylic paint to freehand the snowmen
I want to make this into a feltie!
I now have a new project to keep me busy!!

Extreme close up.. WHOAAAAA
/end Wayne's World scene
They are they cutest little things in the world!!

I have a great idea for what I am going to do tomorrow!
Muahaha

Until tomorrow my lovelies!

Tiara vs. Showgirl! Ding Ding Ding

Sorry for being MIA but I have reached a rough patch in regards to my health which left with very little motivation to do anything in my life. I still did my paint each day but did not blog about it. Since my health had me down, I didn't keep up with the 30 days of untireds. I dislike not finishing things!

Onto more important business....NAILS!!

China Glaze Lorelei's Tiara is a Sterling silver with blue and teal glitter.
The index finger is one coat of Lorelei's Tiara.
The middle finger is two coats of Lorelei's Tiara.
The ring is three coats of Lorelei's Tiara.
As you can see, the blue/teal glitter spreads nicely!
It's a great color combination! I love this glitter!
This is a comparison photo.
Index and Ring fingers are Sally Hansen Showgirl Chic.
Middle and Pinky fingers are China Glaze Lorelei's Tiara...
Can you tell the difference?
Nope either can I.

This season has produced A LOT of glitter dupes.
If you have one, you do not need the other.
The only teeny tiny difference is that the Lorelei's Tiara produces more blue/teal glitter than Showgirl Chic.

Until tomorrow my lovelies!

You'd Better Work

I love RuPaul.. Love is an understatement. Obsessed? Yeah, that's more like it.
Today is day 21 of the 30 Days of Untrieds.

For this installment, I bring to you Concrete Catwalk by China Glaze.
Concrete Catwalk is a dark gray cream that was opaque in two coats.
This is a MUST HAVE.
So absolutely gorgeous!!
I can't stop staring at it!
You need this! Really you do

Are you ready for my failed nail art?
I did this at 3 am in the morning and while on my pain meds.
It looked good to me. But at the same time, I am sure everything does at that time!
What the hell are those?!
Well they are supposed to be bullets!
If you tilt your head they kind of look like bullets.
Add this to the ever growing list of things I want to redo
