Day 23: Inspired by a movie

Ok so I meant to post this yesterday but I suddenly got really busy.  I had a family emergency :(, then I went to dinner with friends, then my boyfriend and I had to dog sit. So day 23 of the 30 day nail polish is inspired by a movie. I chose Bram Stoker's Dracula, I love Gary Oldman.
So let me explain what I did.
On the index finger, I chose to do the lips of the girls in bed with Jonathan Harker.
The middle finger is the blood with Lucy get bitten or just the blood in the movie.
The ring finger is sponged to look like a lot of bats in the night (does that make sense?)
and there is always only one that is in focus.
The thumb and pinky resemble the cobwebs around the castle.
What I used:
Wet n Wild: Black Creme
China Glaze: Phat Santa & Naughty and Nice
Aldo: Mardi Gras
Eyeko: Vampira Polish
Sally Hansen: Petal Pusher
Chez Delaney: A37
Again, sorry for the late post!
Until later my pretties!

  1. I love everything about these! What a great combination of designs! Your blood drip looks amazing, how did you get it so realistic?

  2. Thanks a bunch! I used a dotting tools to make the blood drips with China Glaze Naughty and Nice. I then outlined it with China Glaze Phat Santa. When the blood drips, I put a small black dot to make it look congealed/dried blood! Hope that helps!
